BC Computer Medic got its start in 1997 originally known as "BAC & Associates". The owner and founder, Tony Cariker, was contracted to write a custom database application for a school district. After delivery of the product he provided updates for Y2K and then a second school district purchased the software. In the mean time Tony realized that there was a need for a convenient, at-home service for computers in The Woodlands area.
After placing an ad in the Interfaith Directory things started taking off. Calls came in slowly at first, but then word started spreading. People were pleased with the service provided and told their friends about the company. (Now we get as much new business through word-of-mouth as through our Interfaith ad.) Business kept growing and at the start of 2003 BC Computer Medic added an additional tech to our staff and in 2007 we added office personel as well as technicians.
